This site is nothing more than a little archive of pieces of information and opinion I’ve collected regarding Magic: The Gathering.
So What Is 
?
Magic: The Gathering is the world’s premier trading card game – a game in
which the game pieces are also collectible trading cards, not unlike
baseball cards. Magic: The Gathering was initially released as “Magic:
The Gathering: Limited Edition Alpha” in August of 1993, and sold out
nearly immediately. This release was followed up by “Magic: The Gathering:
Limited Edition Beta” and then again by a series of much less limited
releases. Magic has seen continuously releasing expansions ever since.
Magic established early a tone of high fantasy (i.e. Lord of the Rings),
but has since expanded to a variety of genres, such as horror, sci-fi, and
even detective noir!

And Why Would I Come Here For This?
While I’ll admit I’m no expert, I think I’ve at least earned the title of Magic aficionado. I love playing Magic, and have developed a reputation for proficient play at my local game store. Furthermore, I’m not a reddit forum, which is already a leg up on most of the best sources of Magic: The Gathering information. Finally, I’m not claiming to be the end all be all. I’m just here to share something that I’m passionate about, and maybe provide some simple tips, tricks, and other miscellaneous hacks that will help you take down a local prerelease event, draft, or whatever other event you may need to demolish to show your friends how cool you are.
